NUDE FIGURATIVE ART WORKSHOP

Presented by Palettes Pioneer India

Immerse yourself in the study of the human form through a two-day intensive nude figurative art workshop at Samsara Academy of Art, Hyderabad. Explore the fundamentals of figure drawing and painting through live demonstrations, hands-on practice, and personalised guidance.

Designed to help artists deepen their understanding of anatomy, form, proportion, light, and shadow, this workshop offers an opportunity to learn directly from a master artist while working from a live model. Through charcoal drawing and oil painting, participants will explore different approaches to interpreting the human figure, translating observation into expressive works of art.

Day 1: 14 December

10:00 AM – 1:30 PM | Charcoal Demonstration

Witness a live nude figurative drawing demonstration in charcoal, exploring the techniques and artistic decisions involved in capturing the human form.

2:30 PM – 6:30 PM | Live Model Drawing Session

Put your learning into practice by drawing from a live model in charcoal. Receive hands-on guidance and individual critique throughout the session, followed by a group performance analysis to reflect on your work, identify areas for improvement, and learn from fellow participants.

Day 2: 15 December

10:00 AM – 1:30 PM | Figurative Painting Demonstration

Observe a live figurative painting demonstration in oil, exploring the translation of the human form onto canvas through colour, value, composition, and painterly technique.

2:30 PM – 6:30 PM | Live Model Painting Session

Apply the techniques demonstrated by the master artist as you paint from a live model in oils. Receive personalised guidance and critique throughout the session to refine your observation, strengthen your technique, and develop a more confident approach to figurative painting.

6:30 PM – 7:30 PM | Special Masterclass: Art Exhibition & Marketing
